Animal adventures (ages 5+)
Learn about animals from around the world when you meet one of our reptiles, an insect in the Discovery Lab, and enjoy a program at the ark.
Colors & Shapes (ages 5+)
Explore the world of colors and shapes by making a mobile and mixing colors.
Magnet Madness (ages 5+)
Explore the properties of magnets by testing to see if different materials are magnetic and playing magnetic games.
Pirate Science (ages 5+)
Yarr Matey! What sinks? What floats? Learn about the property of density from a pirate.
Artist Spotlight (ages 7+)
Discover the artist in you by learning about a famous artist and creating a piece of art in the same style.
Energy & Motion (ages 7+)
Create a car that will move on its own using simple materials and the laws of energy.
Forensics (ages 7+)
Solve a mystery by investigating footprints, fingerprints, and a mysterious note using chromatography.
Girls Night Out (ages 7+)
Enjoy a "girls only" noght by making your own lip gloss in the science lab and diva dancing on the stage. (A Diva or Princess Birthday Bash is also offered, please see the discription on the Birthday Party Page.)
Scavenger Hunt/Movie Combo (ages 5+)
Complete a scavenger hunt while exploring the museum during playtime, then enjoy a G-rated movie on the big screen at the back stage.
Included in your Overnight Adventure: 7PM - 8AM
Play time in the Museum, themed programming provided by staff educators, healthy evening snack, continental breakfast, gift shop open for a limited time during the evening, and a FREE museum pass for each child camper to return another day. Please have everyone here by 7:15 to help us stay on schedule and give your group plenty of Museum time.

When e-mailing a reservation please include: date requested, number of children, organization/group name, contact namd and information, and theme. Camp-ins are NOT reserved until a deposit is received and a confirmation is returned.
Pre-Order Your T-shirts
Pre-order your campers' Hands On! t-shirts for $10 each. That's a savings of $2 per shirt. This also ensures that your receive the color and size of your choice. T-shirts will also be available the night of your camp-in at the regular price of $12. Selection may be limited.
Cost:
$20 per child $10 per adult. Teacher, troop leader, or ministry leader is free. Adult admission cost includes all of the benefits of a child's admission except the free pass. A minimum of 20 children or $400 is required. If the minimum number of children do not attend, you will be charged the full $400. One adult per 5 children is required to attend for safety purposes. All campers must meet the minimum age requirement for that camp. Once an initial reservation is made a $40 deposit is due upon receipt of confirmation packet to maintain your reservation.
Rules:
1. Always use your walking feet.
2. Always use your inside voice.
3. Please don't pet the animals in the ark.
4. Treat our live animals with repsect (don't tap on the cages).
5. Kids slide safely in the coal mine (sorry adults, kids only).
6. NEVER open the door for anyone - get an adult.
7. Please stay from doors and windows after lights out.
8. Only sleep upstairs.
9. No one is permitted outside after lights out.
