Please allow 1 1/2 to 2 hours to fully enjoy and explore all of our exhibits and activities.

Holiday Closings: We are closed New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Please ckeck our events page for additional holiday or other closings.

Snow Schedule: We follow the Johnson City School System schedule on snow days.

• Adults & Children (age 3+) $8.00
• Children (2 & under) FREE
• Members receive FREE admission.

These admission prices entitle you to one full day of admission. You are welcome to leave and come back, just get your hand stamped!

We accept cash, personal checks, travelers checks, and Visa and Mastercard.

We also sell guest passes, that can be used at a later date, at the above prices.

We offer the following discounts on our admission prices:

• ASTC Museum members receive free reciprocal admission
• Teachers receive free admission with a valid school ID
• TSTA (Tennessee Science Teachers Association) receive free admssion
• AAA Members receive $1.00 off each admission with a current membership
• Senior Citizens receive $1.00 off their individual admission
• Individuals with a Military ID receive $1.00 off admission

Take Interstate 26 to Johnson City. Exit at exit #23 (Market Street). Hands On! is located one block west between Main and Market Streets with on-street and public parking located nearby.
